Formed in 1970, the Olympia Harbor Patrol now operates as a service of the Port of Olympia. POHP personnel are community volunteers who serve without compensation. Harbor Patrol Officers and Crew-members annually account for more than 800 hours of on-the-water patrol and 750 hours of training.
